Fender Repair
If you have ever tried to repair a cracked fender you no it's not a simply job.  I spent years trying different glues, tapes, braces, and even melting the seam together.  None of them worked.   Finally I found a foolproof technique to repair all types of cracks and breaks in plastic fenders.  If you have a drill and some fishing line you will have the crack repaired in no time.  Below are the simple steps to fender crack repair.  Click on any image for a better view.
Step 1: Drilling
Step 2: Stitching

That’s right, get out your smallest drill bit 1/16 or smaller.   Drill the same number of holes on either side of the crack, about 5 per inch.  Keep the holes across from each other for the best looking results.

Now cut off a few feet of 20-40lb test monofiliment fishing line.  Thread each end of the line down through the end holes on either side of the crack.  Then just start threading the line across the crack in a crisscross pattern.  When you come to the end pull all the slack out of the line and tie it in a knot.

Step 3: Your Done
Make sure your knots are on the under side of the fender.  If your repairing a large crack you may want to tie off a few times in the middle incase the line gets broke.  I hope the instructions have been clear it's really pretty simple and doesn't take long at all.  Below are a few samples of repairs on various fenders.   -Woodo68-
