2 stroke coil on 4 stroke?

Is it possible to use a 2 stroke coil on a 4 stroke? I want to run my 82 atc200 for a bit before I store it for winter. I scavenged the coil for my 200s and the only other coil I have is from a 2 stroke dirtbike. I think it will work but dont want to break anything. :confused:

should work just fine,,,, i have swapped coils before without any problems,,,,,
