200s tranny question

How are the trannys supposed to feel when you shift gears?
very tight, tight,fluid or loose (slippin)?
cause my 200s slips a little like a 1-2 second delay befor is grabs and goes,
but the one im looking to purchase is very tight and touchy and i was just wondering if it was supposed to be like that?orignally?

Mines tight and more touchy, dosen't slip at all. I wouldn't know how to fix a loose one though.

check your centrifugal clutches(weights as the manual reads), sounds like they are worn just a bit. if thats not it then your other clutches behind the centrifugal drum.

I really didnt think bout fixin it right yet, gonna wait till after new year, gonna rebuild motor and tranny thanks again
