their is a wide verity of greases. you want a top quality bearing grease. nappa use to have a red grease the was very sticky.
if you put some between your thumb and finger and moved them apart you would see long strings of grease between thumb and finger. wish i could remember the name.

No i don't think that pinkish red stuff is that good. It'a ok. the good stuff is blood red and kind of see through.

Lucas Oil Products Red & Tacky #2. The only grease I use.

I first bought Red & Tacky #2 at my local auto parts store, then I found out Acklands-Grainger has it and sells it for a little cheaper.

Now, I'm an Amsoil man, and this is the only grease I found that is superior to Amsoil grease.

Also, Red Ram used to have a really good grease years ago, but it's not the same these days.

:) hey dads, i thinks that napa grease is high temp wheel bearing grease, stuff is deep red and wont come off your hand unless you use solvent and many rags.:D
comes in the one pound tub, and i fill my grease gun with it also as my local napa store wont order it in the easy load tube.

I've used a good grade of boat trailer wheel bearing grease as it keeps the water out very well, never lost any swingarm bearings (i.e. didn't have to replace any after installing with that kind of grease.)
