new engine for 200x?

It may sound ridicilous, but I'll ask anyway. Do you know any motorbike engine that will fit my 200x? I want to make it go faster, so I've considered searching fo r a bigger engine. The problem is, I live in Poland and finding an engine from ATV is impossible!!! However we have a multitude of engines from motorbikes such as xl, dr, cr, kx etc. Would you reccomend me any of motorbike engines? I know, that kickstarter would be a problem, for it moves awkwards in atv-s.
Any ideas?????

there is a xr200 engine that will fit right in. i don't know which ones. I hear you can use the kick starter gears from the 200x to make the xr motor kick the right way. the transmission has another gear also, so you will have a 6 speed then.

and what about engine from honda nx200 or nx 250, they have electric starters (I suppose so....)

heres my motor...
200x cases with the 6 speed xr transmission installed..xr head ..x cylinder 10:1 piston ported polished high lift cam stainless valves...titanium springs....new clutch...and drop 6 teeth off the rear sprocket...:headbang:

Hey Mark where did you find all of your parts for your 200x? How reliable is it?

you never said what year of 200x you have. The 86 and up has 6 speeds. If you have a 85 and older,than alot of XR200 parts will work..EXCEPT 84-85 XR200R.They have 4 valve heads. there should be alot of old XR200's aroound. I have a 83 XR200 cylinnder on my 200x. The 86 and up 200X is totally different. They say the 6-speed gears will fit...but dont know for sure...never tried it.
