Jenn, it REALLY depends on what you are riding. If you on on a 2 stroke, you don't generally want to go over 22 inches, and almost any paddle style tire should work. Look at Sand Skates by Sand Tires Unlimited, or 3 different sand tires by Skat-Trak. Even Cheng Shin Tire has a couple of sand tires. If you want a multi purpose tire that works good in sand, look at the Realer A/T by Pure Sports. Works good in almost anything, and is reversible for sand riding!! Hope that helps a little.....:D

extending the arm 2 to 4" will be a great addition to your trike as far as tires any paddle tires will be much better than stock tires. you should stay with a tire that is close to the same diameter as your tires then you don't get into gearing issues,,,,,,,, third weekend in july flourence lets go

I've been investigating this subject recently as well, and what I've found out is if your just wanting traction, Haulers are a good bet, but if you want traction and the ability to powerslide, Sand Skate II's are the way to go. There are copies of these designs by other manufacturers, but from what I've heard they are quite a bit heavier and rob a lot of power due to that weight, but cheaper. I've also heard good things about the new designs (gecko, rooster, paddlemaster) as well. Good luck, and if your interested in a good set of Haulers on ITP aluminum rims, email me, we are in the same state.
