View Full Version : How can i tell what year my yamaha is??

It has no stickers on it telling me the year/model it is, theres no plastic, i know its a 200cc 4-stroke with a clutchless 5spd, how can i tell what model it is??

All I can saay for sure is that it is a four stroke auto clutch and its 200 cc, but you knew that already, give me a little more descriptcion and I'll check out some other sources besides my book.

Usually there is a sticker on the front steering stem

first off like i said in the first post there is no sticker by the triple clamp, there is no plastic so i cant se what it looks like, it has brand new huge nobbies, the front fender/headlight were yellow but now are brown, it has some really small shock/forks in the front, pull start,on the bottom of the tank towards the front theres 4 parell lines that go for about 2/3/4/5 inches towards the back, its slow(stuck in third gear), thats all i can see??

Does it have reverse or electric start? The 84 200ER had both, 200E just electric and TriMoto 200 without both.

The 200ER I had was quick with the DG exhaust but I hated the hard tail...

What I ment by more details was what it had on the bike itself, you know features, like govert said.
