are you talking about that one in byram?
I went and looked at it, that guys is nuts wanting $800. the fenders are shot. the swingarm bearings are gone. it smokes. it needs $500+ worth of work. he said he was pretty firm on the price, but if you could get him down to $5-600 it might be worth it.

well it needs carrier bearings, all plastic, seat cover, tail light, grab bar, top end rebuild. some idiot painted the thing with red krylon spray paint. that is not that bad but they did not tear it apart or even tape off anything. it has over spray everywhere! they even painted over the honda stickers on the tank.
it does have all the brakes and the head light is good. it has stock exhaust and a uni filter.
the tires have decent tread but some dry rot.
whats it worth?????

Wow that does need a little work dosnt it. Did he say if he would come down any on it?. Or is he holding out for the $800.00. Sounds a bit high concidering the work it needs. If the rear carrier is bad you are going to be looking at $300.00 for a new one and bearings and seals. And another $225.00-$250.00 for plastic with shipping. Tail light and grab bar are fairly cheap. And if the motor just needs a piston and rings and some new gaskets. You could get it all done for around $1500.00. That isnt bad i guess. I would pay that much for a sweet 350x with all them new parts. But if it ends up needing more then meets the eye. You might want to try to get him down a little on that price to give you some room to work.
did u get it?
Thanx

no, i skipped on it. that thing smoked worse then any car i have ever seen. it poured out smoke and the top end sounded liek it had a hammer banging around in it. it would have been a big project and i did not want the headache.
