I searched for quite a bit but I remember one of you big dogs here welded on some frame stops for the 200X triples.
Until now I just run the 200X forks with 20wt fluids and a 1" PVC spacer in the stock SX triples. No front brake but still light years ahead of the stock useless SX front end.
I'm selling one complete 200X for the SX setup on EBAY (ends in 3 days) that bolts right on but now that I can focus on 1 1987 250SX ATC I want to get the 200X triples and everything on there correctly with a disc brake. So - I'm sure I can figure the stops out but I wanted to find that post as I believe it had some good pictures and information. Thanks for any help!!

for my 85 250sx all i did was cut off the steering stop off the frame. then make a new steering stop for the 200x forks. everything bolted up fine, i used a complete 85 200x front end. you will need a new front fender for the skinner forks, but the 250sx head light still works.

Yep - thats what it is - the picture limit thing.
Anyhoo - I only took a quick glance and trial fit. The stock SX lowers have a nub cast in the steel lower triple and it hits another nub on the SX frame - self explanatory.
The 200X lower triples I bought, I can't see where it is supposed to be stopped. Of course any kind of rigged up stop will do the trick but I wanted to get it similar to the way it is intended to work. I can't see any nubs or wear marks to indicate where a frame nub would have stopped that lower aluminum 200X triple and prevented any tank damage.
Any insight is appreciated.
The 200x stop is welded to the lower part of the head, in front
