will a 350x shock work on a 200x. Is there any advantages on using the 350x shock

You're better off having your original 200x rear shock redone. It's set up with the right length & all for the 200x rear swingarm geometry. I don't even think they will interchange physically either. :ugh:

If you're not happy with yours it may be that you don't have any pressure left in it. You can have a local cycle shop check it & recharge if necessary. It made a big difference in some of my trikes.

i put a 350x rear shock on my 85 200x. had to make a new rear lower mount. have not rode the bike yet, but with the spring as soft and it can I think it is too stiff.
