Well, I think I found the reason I have no spark in my "84 110. It seems a mouse ate the all the wires that run through the top end of the frame. I hope thats it because it will be a cheep fix.

Now I need some help. There are 5 wires that got comsumed by the mouse. One brown, one yellow, one black and two green. I know what all of them are but the two green (direct grounds) have me a bit puzzeled. I'm not sure why there are two. When I splice the wires back together I will have no idea which greens go together. Does it matter? don't all greens hook up at some point and get attached to the frame, otherwise known as "ground"?

The same thing happened to my 76 ATC90. It needed points so I started it, it ran and then died I checked everything then I got so mad at it I took it apart and found the mouse nest and chewed through wires.

Happened to me and my cousins when we went hunting in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with their quads. The mice got up into the air filters, shredded the filters and packed every opening overnight with corn and other crap. :fire: MICE!!!!

If you opened your harness all the way up you would fined the two green wires are spliced to gether some wear in the harnes so it does not mater whitch one you splice too

Yes, my air box was packed with a mouse nest too and the air filter was also chew to hell.

Last night I spliced the wires back together and the '84 110 fired up on the first pull. Awesome! It ran pretty good too. I noticed she's a little loud and I can see exaust comming from the underside. Also the exaust is a little smokey.
