in the latest version of my 200 i had a cam chain tension problem and figured that before i really ran it i should pull the head apart and check the valves.
i put the intake valve in a collet and indicated it's face and got .0065 runout. i got the same reading on the stem near the head but the strange thing was the cyl. side of the head ran true??? anyways i figured the piston must have hit it and i needed a new one.
the new one came in and i almost took it home but then figured i should check the new one. damn it if the thing didn't have the same problem. i called the manufacturer and he's going to do a bin check and send me a new one.
after all this what i'm getting at is if you have one of these you might want to have a shop check it cause you can't really do it yourself and it won't seat properly.
if it's allready in a running motor i don't know if i'd get to crazy about it cause mine ran real strong although i think this could be why i had so many problems getting the 28mm FS to idle properly and jet cleanly, it would be a bigger problem at lower rpm's.
anytime it's not stock your gonna have problems:demon:
