View Full Version : Fresh painted wheels!

Last week I got one of those 3m scotch pad jobbies that connect to a drill and cleaned off my wheels. Had the back ones done on the first day and ended up using it for a few runs with the parts rig front wheel.. to make a long story short I was lucky to get home that night on a beat bearing. Finished the job tonight with the original wheel and hub with new bearings....

Not sure.. Bought it at a hardware store, said it was good for metal. Sico I think... maybe???? :confused:
I really should put some clear on them to keep them from braking out. They only had a bit of surface rust on them from bing stored outside..

nice 225. you dont see many of them around here... the only one ive ever seen is one my grandpa had when i was like REALLY little.. all i can rember is it wasa black yamaha with a yellow frame and it wasnt a tri z..did yammy make the 225s n black?

They were made in Yellow, Black and a Sky Blue. There are a lot of them in my area.
