I have been told a 38A/S will actually flow better AND flow more air than a 39PWK. The 39 has a #60 slow jet, but only a #160 main. The 38A/S uses a smaller slow (#55 due to the fact that is has a different design that has the 2 samll runners that direct air @ low rpm I would assume) but a fairly larger #170 main. The larger main in the 38A/S tends to make one think it would flow more air. Now for the real confusing part.....a standard 38PWK (non-quad vented) uses an even larger set of jets.....#58 slow, #172 main. Could somebody (yeah, what the hell, EVEN you BILLDO :lmao: ) give some opinions on this?

BTW, I still sell any of these type carbs for way less than you will find ANYWHERE else. Brand new in the box.......35PWK A/S, 38PWK A/S, 36PWK, 39PWK=$150 +shipping each. Banshee sets of a Motion Pro Cable and 2 34PJs =$269.00 shipped.

speedy,,, jets have nothing to do with the amount of air flow especially ones installed from the factory,, they have no way of knowing what the carbs are going to be installed on,,,, i have two 250's running the same carbs one all stock one modified stock engine has a 148 main jet and the modified engine is running a 170 main both machines run great ,and a plug check reveals both are jetted pretty close too,,,, so that throws that out of the window,,,,
