well, i had to go with cobra jet with stock headpipe, but mine has the cobra headpipe. i think someone took the guts out of the baffle. this thing is loud as heck! its just as loud as with the headpipe only.

It also depends on how important a SPARK ARRESTOR is to you... Not all of the abovementioned pipes have them.

this is an opinion poll,,,,, unless someone can find some dyno charts,,,,, the best pipe for a 350x is the one that makes your 350x powerband right where you like it,,,,,,,,

Couldn't agree with ATC500 any more. It's ALL personal preference in the end, isn't it?

Just bought my second '86 350X. She runs bitchin' - faster than my old one - but she has the dreaded "popping on deceleration" syndrome. I'm getting new gaskets/seals for the exhaust, in case a leak exists somewhere, BUT...

I have a SuperTrapp from the stock headpipe on down the line. I also have a Uni air filter installed. FURTHERMORE, I have stock jets in the carb. What jetting changes would you recommend (i.e. - changes for the main, needle-clip position, "fuel" screw position, etc.)?

I like it loud, and for this I run the Cobra head pipe and "non" silencer. It is so loud it is piercing to the ears and the guys that ride with me bitch about it on the trails. The louder the better, but I don't ride where they have noise limits ................

I like my setup. 400ex headpipe with a LEXX MXe muffler for the TRX450r. But you didn't have that in the poll....haha
You should put in there "custom" as many people use 400ex/ 450r stock or aftermarket mufflers and also the 400ex headpipe

I'm running a White Brothers E-Series on my 350X. It's a combination of a cobra header, midpipe, and a White Bros silencer. I'm running 12 disks which is a perfect balance of power and sound.
