I ran across a 300R head and cylinder for the 84 250R and wondered where I might be able to find a piston kit for it.

I've heard that 350odessey pistons can be used. Brings the disp. up to around 310cc's. I'd check into it.

call LA sleeve, they can get it sleeved, have pistons, and head gaskets for the 8 stud jug. The cylinder has to be slightly modified, but they can do it. I have posted this many times on both boards. Im sending them mine soon as I finish my tri-z project.

the 300 kit has seven studs but any way go to your local machine shop that does race car stuff they should be able to hook you up with some one that can make one for around 100 bucks

I have contacted most of the atv racing shops (trinity etc) and I am waiting on some responses. So far one response looks to have promise. I will update everyone when I have some more info.

Hello there. You are right there are alot of those cylinders still out there and Honda has discontinued selling the pistons and cylinders. But we have found a solution. One thing, is I do still have sleeves for those cylinders. The other is that I have a piston that will work for the cylinder. The only thing is that you have to do some cylinder modifications. I also have a top end gasket kit for that cylinder. To sum it up, we can still make the motor run. If there are any more questions email me or call me. Have a good day.
