I am looking to build something that comes off my muffler on the 85 Big Red that would redirect the exhaust fumes.
The reason for this is that I have a ski-boose which I haul behind the trikes. The muffler is higher on the Big Red than the 200m and the fumes would blow into the kids face. I want to redirect the exhaust to the ground.

I want to come up with something that won't effect the performance. I don't want to purchase a new muffler if I don't have to.

Any Ideas.

I would maybe try a 90 degree elbow and build a clamping system to attach it to the end of the muffler.

How about a pic of the end of the muffer as it is right now. Yhat way we have something to work with..

Its the original exhaust. The pic below has the same type end as the original. (not exact)

go to a parts store and buy a cheap generic chrome exhaust turndown. cut all but the turndown off & weld it to the end of the silencer.
