Mods for a 250SX

Are there any mods available for a 1985 Honda 250SX? Anything I can do on my own to get more power out of her? Any suggestions would be great!

The easiest mods to do are add a pipe, change to low restriction air filter and adjust jetting. Beyond that you pretty much have to go into the motor (cam, big bore kit). My SX has a supertrapp with 14 discs, KN filter with hole-sawed lid and 140 main jet (stock is 130) It runs very well.

You can get a bigger cam from webcam. Mild port job on the head/intake. I wouldn't suggest boring for more power unless you run across one of those rare 300cc big bore kits. good luck!

a 350x carb is a little bigger, it would work good after the exhaust and air filter are added.
