Wheel sizes and bolt patterns

Douglas Wheel emailed me a catalog today. This cool chart was in it.

hey thats nice! so for an 83 250R does that mean they make an 11 inch front wheel? because some dingle here told us you would have to take like a 10 inch and get it shaved to an 11 inch center....true or falst?:confused:

The chart says Douglas makes a 11" front wheel for a 83 R.

ok cool. and i stand corrected, that isn't how he said it would be, you would buy a bald tire and they'd shave it for you which still would cost my right arm and probably my leg too. =) THanks guys, really appreciate it!

Whoever told you that must aslo be confused about a few other things. Primarily, the fact that crack does not make you smarter. It makes you come up with ideas like that.

Calling him a Dingle is a nice way to put it. I may have a sticker made for the side of my trailer simply stating, "No Dingles Allowed." Thanks for the idea.

to add to this post, the front rim on a 85-86 250r will fit on the front of a 86-87 tecate. it bolts right up to the hub!!!

From what I can tell the 200x(83-86), 250R (83-86) has the same bolt pattern as the 85-86 350X....But will their hubs fit the 350X axle???? Reason I ask is I would like to get a set for my Paddles........Can someone shed some light here???

The 85-86 250r will on the hubs, but the 200x's any year will not. Now for fun, the bolt patterns match on 86-87200x, 250r's and 350x's both 85-86. As stated in another post.
