tri z 5th gear

all my gears work until i get to 5th. it works fine until i hit the powerband then it will start jumping or bucking. do l have a gear backwards or something. Could someone give me a detailed scan of the transmission. its a 85.

does it buck in 5th out of powerband? or is the eng. just brakeing down in powerband in 5th?

I am in 5th gear accelerating, when the powerband hits it will start bucking in the engine

sounds like ignition brake down. how old is the plug?
Does it feel like a miss fire?

Plugs about a couple months old. I think it is a car plug to. I will try a new one

Automotive plugs work but not good. they are not hot enuff and can not with stand the heat.

I have tried several different spark plugs. I looked at the stator and one of the copper wires is broke would that be a problem

you bett. if the wire is broken. you don't get the signal.
