cam timing?????

i have a 85 350x and i am going through the top end. I am getting a 12:1 piston and a cam. Can anyone help me out and try to explain how to get the cam back in time. And how much more horsepower do you think i will get out of it.

i am not sure about the 350x but if it is like a 200x i can help you. does anyone know if it li like a 200x??

They should all time the some ( 4 stroke ) Just the timeing marks may be in a differant locashon. Because of the digrease it firers before top dead center For the differant eng. sizes.
