185s Question

I am looking for a 185s seat and found one off a 185 does anyone know if they are different? Or does anyone have a 185s seat they would like to sell. My email address is random@intercom.net. Thanks for the help!

i did not know there was a difference between a 185 and a 185s??? they should be the same. look in the classified section and there may be one for sale. welcome to the site, hang around for a while ;)

Because the question about 185 vs 185s has come up several times, I did some research at partsfiche. Based on what models are available to select, the only year there was a ATC185 was 1980. It was the original big red. I say that because from the listings at partsfiche, it had two piece rear fenders, and 25 inch tires. the 185s was from 1981 to 1984, and was a smaller bike. 22 inch tires and a one piece rear fender. Therefore, if the seat is truely off of a ATC185, then it is a 1980 and will not fit on a 185s. The ATC185 became the ATC200 for 1981 through 1984.

You need a seat off of a 185s, or a 200s.
