So I bought these 2 trikes from someone real cheap.
well the 350x had a hole inthe crankcase where the chain broke and punched a hole in it. So I fixed that and filled er full of oil and hoped that she would run. Well after a few kicks to the shin and my truck dragging it around the block it still won't start. When my friend was dragging it it would run in 3rd but pushing the throttle did nothing. When I would push in the clutch it died. Where do I start. I am very new to small engines. like these 2 are my first. I already removed the tank and I drained out the gas which looked like piss. Please let me know this is sopposed to be my wife's trike. Thats how I justified buying 2.
Thanks Ryan:wtf:

sounds like the carb may be plugged up i'd try cleaning that as a start

Yup, Fuel and Spark, always the first two items to look at when troubleshooting small engines. Inspect the fuel system, filter, lines, bowl, etc. And check the spark plug for visuals of fuel, and then hold it to the head, turn the rear wheel or pull start, and look for a blue spark. Also sometime you can remove the air filter and try a little starter fluid, I said a little.

Good luck.

Well I pulled off the spark plug and it looks brand new. also The carb looks pretty good. I think maybe the valve between the tank and the carb might be bad. It leaks when you turn it to on or reserve. So I'll be getting one of those. and some new gas because the old stuff was yellow. And pray that that is all. Thanks Ryan:hail: :hail: :hail:
