My little 250R Hope up

Well not to long ago I set out to mod up my 85 R and I did just that. I got all my parts off E-Bay so I woulden't break my wallet.
this is what I got

86 R carb

Boyseen reeds

Twist throttle

Over all the low end greatly benifited, and torque was multiplied. The top end also gained but with this peticular setup the R likes midrange so it a great trail/river runner but don't get me wrong if you can handle it the bike will pull 5th gear wheelies now. The best mod I have so far is the Roost Boost Plus, second would be the pipe.

lol thats funny, cause i have had 3 of them on several machines and i have taken them off and thrown them away,,,, no difference at all...........

Well maybe your onry, and just don't give things a chance. With all the combined parts is how I mostly tested my bike, but with just the roost boot plus it does deffinatly increase the torque, and you can hear the difference in sound. Maybe you diden't notice it, but I did a on off comparisen with everything else constant even motor temp.

I played with Answer's Roost Boost Plus on an oscilliscope awhile back and the only thing that I figure out that it does is fool with the ignition timing in a away that wouldn't really make any difference. The reason I looked into it was that I bought one and soon after took it off because I didn't think it did anything and I was wondering if it was broken.
