I need to replace the swingarm pivot bearings in my '85 R. I want to get a Pivot Works set instead of stock part$, but they only have them for the TRX's. Are my parts the same as the '86 TRX?
'85/'86 ATC's and '86/'87 TRX's all share the same pivot works kit.

Thanks Levi.
No problem.
Were you able to remove the pivot bolt without any troubles?

i got the pivot bolt on my parts rig out with no trouble! this thing had been sitting so long that the axle bearings had froze up! monday i am going to try and take the running (i wish) ride apart. i am having to swap frames on the two machines. where did you order the bearings from?

Rocky Mountain ATV seems to have it the cheapest, but Chaparral and Dennis Kirk also have it.

are you sure the trx's and the 85 250r's have the same pivot bearings? i just tried to order from dennis kirk and they told me that they would not work. they said they had several sets returned to them.
My Pivot Works kit said "'85-'87 TRX 250R". Though TRX's wern't made in '85, I presumed it fit the ATC's as well. The kit fit just fine for me.
'88/'89 TRX's I believe are different.

About how much does it cost to powdercoat a swingarm?
