ive been runnign my modded x for about a month now since the last rebuild and i noticed that my engine was exesively noisy so i just adjusted the valves hoping the noise wld go away, i started the bike back up , same problem, well after takign off the rotor and ignition module i wathced the engine crank and right after the exhaust valve opens the cam chain likes to slap against the cylinder, the tensioners were as far as they could go, i reasembled it and rode it some more considerign there was nothign icoudl really do about it, well the chain neded up snaping in abotu an hour... now my question is, what would cause a cam chain to wear out that quickly, the negine went from normal to noisy to the cam chain sanpping in under 3 hours of riding, its an 84 200x anyone ever experience that problem?
