It didn't have any grips on when I got it and I didn't get a chance to ride it yet.

Good luck Matt! :D
And be careful!!! ;)
About for the first half hour the 225 ran fine until the exhaust valve unadjusted its self and I didn't have my service manual, feeler gauge, or a nice garage to work in. So I loaded it up and came home. So today sucked.

Awe, bummer dude :( - don't sweat it, a little bit of work and you'll be running in no time... :D
Again, good luck! ;)
Yea I know I'll have it running again with no problems it's that I'm not going to have time to go riding again till after November.

Til November? I ride pretty much every day around my yard, field and woods. I'd go insane if I couldn't ride for that long!
I can't really ride around my yard. It's too small I think it is under a half acre.

Crappy verry.. I ride almost every day too. Nice to live in a Province that has tonnes of places to ride.
This weekend we rode around 130KM in one trip. Left the house around 9:30am Saturday. There was me and my bud on our 225DR's, a DT350 dirtbike, BigBear, and a Wolverine. Looked like Team Yahmaha!!!
Was an exploritory ride. Rode a pole line for a few hours til we reached a cross road. Drove down that to another community and stopped for lunch. Got fuel and rode a different pole line til we met the old railway bed, followed that back to where we usually go for a ride. Stopped had a fire and a grub job, rested and dried our gear (was raining on and off all day). Left there and headed home. A full circle that I'm sure we'll be doing again. We had a throw away camera but my buddy left it in his truck. Ohh well, I'll have some pics from the next one for sure.
Ohh I forgot My girlfriend took some video before we left. I'll capture some pics from that of us leaving.... look in the pics section...
