gas ratio Q

i just bought an 83 250r and from what i know the recommended gas/ oil ratio is 20:1.... however, the guy i bought it from has been running it at 32:1.
i dont know what i should use; are there pro's and cons between the two?
if anyone is in the same boat as me or has any advice, im all ears.

32:1 is pretty much the benchmark for the ratio to run.

Honda recomends 20:1 to cover thier :booty: 's

if the preveouse owner was running 32:1 your best bet is to stick with that ratio. thats what the motor is used to
