I am gonna start with Honda's and the ones I know.

ALL 200x and below, interchange. SO 200x, 200, 185, 110, 125, and 70.

To take it one more step. You can also use 300ex hubs (or 86-87 200x). The are extended by about an inch on each side. The white one in the pic is a stock 200x hub, the red one is a 300ex hub. there are usually several sets on ebay at any given time

Correct me if I missed one or added one that should not have.

Post other that you may know of...

Will a 400ex hub work also????

SpeedBump

So they will work too. If a T3 and a T4 are the same, then you can use most of the Yamaha hubs on them. I have a pair of Raptor hubs on my T4 now. The Blaster hubs work, as do the Warrior and Banshees. (Blaster bolt pattern is different than the others, but splines are the same)

i know u can put a klt110 hubs on a 83-85 tecate for a 4 on 110 bolt patern but the bolt holes are bigger it works great if you havre the klt110's 8 inch steel wheels. or u can put mojave, blaster, banshee, warrior, and raptor hubs on the back of a 86-87 tecate. and i know a 400ex hub wont fit on a 85r ive tried but a 300ex will work and so will a 250x. the 250sx and 250es big red hubs are interchangable and thats about all i know.

i also dont think the atc 70 is the same as the 200x b/c thats a 3 bolt and the atc110 and 125 are diffrent. at least from the 83 200x's

Lemme take the Honda's a step further, as to one reason why....

The 350x and 250r liquid, (dont know air) hubs same, and same bolt pattern.

The 86200x same bolt pattern as 350x and 250r.

I put the those hubs on the 110 (86200x), and all my tires can go on any of my 4 trikes at any given time..:D

One more step Jenn. Suzuki LT250R rear hubs will work on a 1986 and 87 200x. I saw a set of them on one today and thought i would pass along the information:D

Craig look here for bolt patterns, I should combine the threads cause they are related but I will wait and see what others say.

On wheel spacers, well there is many opinions. I will start an opinion thread on that. Prob in lounge.

Thanks Jenn I just wondered because I saw a set on Ebay...Wondered what something like that was worth too...It does push the wheels out about 4 in. or so...My question would be is there more stress on the Axle doing that???
thanks again,,,

 2 years later............will the mojave, blaster, banshee, warrior, and raptor hubs fit on the tri-z...aaaaaaaannnnnnnnd..those wheel spacers you were asking about ,,mywifeknowseverythin,,,:yup: get-r-done:D

bansheeboy
01-18-2007, 01:01 AM
i would assume they would cause the blaster stuff is supposed to be from the z anyway but i would have to take a hub from my blaster and see if it will go on the z. i know the blaster and banshee are the same. something else i need to do.....

rear wheel spacers are alright as long as there installed correctly. front wheel spacers leave alot to be desired as they put more pressure on your shocks and make the turning feel funky but beings this is a trike site i doubt thats a problem here..lol

Blaster and Tri-Z share the Same bolt pattern and the Banshee will Fit the Z axle but the Bolt pattern is different...Not sure about the Spines on the Warrior or any of the others....

yfz, raptor, warrior, banshee are all the same and with a 4/115 bolt pattern and will fit a tri z
blaster splines are the same as a tri zbut 4/100

so what years of the 300ex will fit a 200x

banshee/other yamaha hubs will fit on a ytm-225dx. (convert 3 bolt to 4 bolt)

06-10-2008, 01:04 AM
Also, you can put a set of 400ex rear hubs on a 225DX because I just did it to mine. You have to tap the 400ex hubs on with a hammer because it is just a little bit of a tight fit, but it does work.

I had some Banshee rear hubs on it, but went with the Honda 400ex hubs because I could use my factory 85R rear tires and wheels on the 225DX.

Since this is resurrected, I have one for those who know stuff too......

What hubs will fit the splines of the 84 200es???

I'd like to be able to change to a different rim/tire size.

So if I got this right.
All 200x, all 250x/300ex, 400ex and 83/84 250R all have the same splines and bolt pattern

And
85/86 250R and 350x both have the same splines and bolt pattern?

What about TRX450R and TRX250R?

MedicineMan

They lost me somewhere.

I can't see the place where the 85 and below 200x can use the 300ex and 400ex hubs.

It was "inferred", but never actually stated or confirmed.

So does anyone know??

I'd like to buy this set for my project.

YES 400ex, 300ex, 86-87 200x, 83-85 200x, 110's, 70's, 200's and 185's can interchange,,, The 400, 300, and 86-87 200x have the hubs that give you some spacing giving the trike a wider stance, which is why its popular changeout. (I know my wording is haywire, sorry the coffee hasnt hit yet.) Had a picture a long time ago, just dont know where it went.

350x and 250r, some have interchanged some have said no way, I have not confirmed that yet...

Have no clue about the trx and 450r can only guess and give you a semi logical answer..

Mass confusion. So if I read this right the 300ex hub will fit the 81 250R. Is that all years of 300ex? I really want to upgrade to 4 bolt rims.

i see it was never confirmed if the 250r water cooled hubs have the same splines as the 350x. i will try and see about this tomorrow some time as i have been wondering. i did a search for this thread and read the whole thing just trying to answer this question. i WILL have an answer!!!

http://i1083.photobucket.com/albums/j383/wildtriker/IMG_20111016_103203-3.jpg

this is a pic of the hub just removed from the 350x. and it has a 85 250r axle in it like it was mad to fit. so it is confirmed that the 350x and water R (85-86) hubs are exactly the same. and to go one step further, the hub nuts have the same threads as well.
