Z air box removal

I removed the stock air box on my z and i am now running the open air filter from the carb but now what do i do with the rubber hose that goes from the cab to the stock air box?? do i just let it hang there or what?

Keep the airbox and modify the lid...You will get just as much air flow that way...Here is what I have....I have a pair of my wifes old nylons for the cover...

I do not know who moved this post. There is a lot of cross over between all the forums, not a big deal in my book
