Umm we are at a loss of words here that god #$@%@$%@$@$%$%^& shaft will not get out of are way. Does any one now the correct way to move this drive shaft out of are way so we can remove the engine??? I need to reweild some nuts so we can bolt the peg back on. And help would be great thanks all!!

Matt just got done swapping a 225 quad motor into his dx. Maybe he would be able to help you out. If you look at the member list. It is Matt not the Matt_200s. Try sending him a email and see if he could help you.
Hey buddy!!! It is sping louded you push it with a screw driver back tords the axle it will slip of the spline, 1inch long . If your tring to pull the axle differenchal, you have to push it to the front of bike, i think it 1inch there too. take care, what the shaft goes into is a water seal and you wont have much room for the screw driver let along two . you will be pushing on a smooth round serface. you can do it differant wayes but if you don't pull the swing tail or the axle shaft first there all hard .you have any probs let me know. Ps If it's like the SX you remove the right side brake drum backing plate 4 bolts 2 bearings are in the backing plate . on left short axle tub 2 in there differanchal has 4 bearings . But you will have to bring to a shop to have them remove the pinuon nut . took me a 1/2 drive and 4ft pipe , chained the swing tail to the bucket of my louder with a bar nuted to hub to stop it from rowtating. when it broke free i thought i broke my socet. i think your looking at torque of 250 on pinuon nut
