Is there any machine that has reed spacers available that will work on the tri-z?

I made my own for my 74 RD350 by taking some extra intake
runners ( the ones between the carb and the head ) and using
them.

They look like rubber, but are actually an aluminum plate with
the rubber tube molded on top of the aluminum. I just cut off
the rubber runner tube flush with the rubber-coated plate and
RTV'd it to the reed cage. Nice thing is it's exactly the right size
and the holes are in the right spot.

Drawback is that it isn't very thick - probably about 1/4 to 3/8
inch. But, I was able to use the stock bolts, and it did move
my powerband down 1000 rpm.

So, if you have an extra intake boot, you might try that . . .

a reed spacer is a peice that goes between the reed cage and the intake manifold(2stroke only), it can change your powerband in different ways.
