Yes they are good trikes. Parts are a little bit harder to find for them. Then for the Hondas. But you should still be able to get a carb kit and most of the major things you would need for it. And i have seen a few of them parted out on ebay. So you should be able to find some used parts for it also if you need any. And if the price is right i would buy one in a minute. But compare the price he wants for it to a honda 110. f the price is about the same. I would go with the honda because of the parts availability. But if he is willing to sell it fairly cheap i would jump on it. They are fairly rare trikes. And something that not every body has allready like the Hondas. Good luck i hope this helps you out a little.

Totally depends on condition. A nice one ready to go would probable sell for $500.00-$600.00. So depending on how much work it needs. Or money it needs to get it all back together. But it sounds like you are right in the ball park.

hey,
what state are you in? if you get the klt i have another one that you could either use for parts or it wouldn't take much at all to make it another ready to ride trike. i'm in florida and will take $150 for it. it runs and i've cleaned it up pretty well (i have some before pics and you wouldn't believe it's the same trike), but the shifter is broke off so it'll need to be welded on or done right and the shaft will need replaced. carb needs some tinkering and it needs some nuts and bolts here and there.
i've attached a pic (i hope) of it after i wetsanded the plastics and redid the tank but before i recovered the seat which is done now.
come and get it if you want.

no(sadly) i didnt get it, he wants 475$ firm, which i for one dont really think it's worth, for 450$ i can buy a atc-125 in good shape i know of, sorry pyxistorts but im in upstate NY, florida is out of the question unless you want to ship it. it sounds like a good deal though.

I have a 85 klt 110. It is black, in like new condition with the exception of a missing rear hand brake lever, and light switch. I bought it from the original owner. It still had its original dry rotted tires and owners manual. I paid $250. A new set of tires and a carb job is all it needed.
This trike sees an abundance of use. It has proven to be a very reliable bike. I am still impressed with its ablities for a 110. I Weight in at about 200lbs. It is almost the same size as my 185s. If any one knows where a rear hand brake lever and light switch are let me know. When it gets down to around zero temp outside I prefer it over my 185 because it is so easy to start.
