How do i take the cdi apart without all the springs and stuff fallin apart i wanna take it of so the timing chain is visible..

Now i have an oil leak on my engine ,the plate with the engine mounts that have the head bolts coming out, would this be my head gasket????If so that explains my idle problem......Now if i take the head off do i need to set the timing???i think i understand thisse thte flywheel to the "T" and turn the cam lobes up(i'm assuming witht he flywheel at T the piston will beTDC so does this sound right? Also for gasket i'm gonna use Dynatex dyna copper RTV silicone gasket maker good for temps of 700F(371C)....I won't be tacking this till after work in about 12 hours so this will give plenty time for people to give there input thanks in advance Rob...

remove the two cover screws. pull cover. remove the two sensor plate screws. pull plate. remove bolt from end of cam that hold the pulse rotor and fly weate mechanism. if you grab the pulse rotor and turn it you will find it will move a little in one direction. that spreds the fly weates so you can pull the rotor off the cam shaft.
the hole unit should slid off but some times they don't. unbolt the pulse base remove it. now you're at the cam chain gear.

(UPDATE)well i got all the gaskets done no more leaks and the engine now idles again(bad head gasket) so the bike in in good running condition again i just need to get the idle screw set to the perfect spot i also swapped the stock taped up plug wire for one of those red ngk performance ones and a new plug so it give a fat blue spark now,i got the bearings outta the rear right now and i'm just waiting for the bearing shop to open so i can go get some new bearings and seals, carbs all clean i can't wait to take this beast 110 out again..
