No matter what i do to the 200s it just wont run. i git close it will fire up,but then it stops and wont start. Dam it sucks

So i need help w/ it, Im hopeing that i can find a fellow 3 wheeler in my area that would be willing to help. if i cant find anybody then im just gonna have to take to the shop ." and get raped by them" and that is just the way it goes i guess.

My area is Northwest Ohio, Southeast Mich. and Northeast Indiana. Hell i will go further if i have too.

I know ths reads as being desperate and it is.

Thanks
Dave Cook

What does the spark plug look like when it wont keep running?
Is there a good amount of fuel avalible thru the fuel hose to the carb?
When was the last time it ran? Hows the fuel quality?
If it was mine I'd have fresh fule, a new plug, and clean the carb........

kasey,Troll
well i picked it up from a farmers auction.
got it home put in a new plug, new gas cleaned the air filter, cleaned all the electrial contacts and nothing.

when i rebuilt the carb i put it back to manufactures settings acording to the manual

Troll the plug looks to be wet when it wont start. I have used starting fluid and it did start but it would not stay running.

thanks for the reply
Dave

If it runs with stating fluid it sounds like a fuel problem

I'd crack the fuel bowl drain and see how much fuel comes out of the carb with the fuel valve off. Just to see if the bowl has enough gas quanity.
If it drains a good amount , did you put a carb kit in it? I know they sell for around $15 at dennis kirk and is VERY complete, with the needle, jets, off idle jet ect..
I think theres a fuel screen in the fuel selecet (petcok) valve that could be checked. Then You could try to run the atc without the fuel cap to bypass the vent to see.
Then you might want to throw on a different plug wire resistor at the plug to see also.
Let us know bro...............
