would a xr100r beat my 185s?

At first i was going to say no way. But i got to looking at the honda webpage for it. And it does have some advantages.

sprockets 14-front 50-rear
yours 11-front 47-rear

compression 9.4:1
yours 8.0:1

weight 165-pounds
yours 270-pounds

They both have 5-speed trannys.
They both have only two valves.
the both run a 22mm carb.

But giving the advantage his has on compression and gear ratio and weight. Not to mention it is a newer machine and has full suspension. I think he might be able to take you. But with a few mods like putting a 10.0:1 200x piston and top end on your trike. And maybe going with more like a 12/40 gear ration. You could blow his doors off. Here is the honda web page for his.

An XR100R would blow your 185 out of the water. When I had my ALT185 i was right next to a XR100 and i was tacked out all the way. when i stopped and asked him what gear he was in he said he was only like in 3rd or 4th gear.
