i got tired of the primer so i got busy today. 3 coats of sanding primer, wet sand, 3 coats of paint, 3 coats of clear! not to shabby for a old trike.

Looks good basket:hail: Do you use a spray gun ? Is it enamel,and does the clear coat need to be the same style paint?
I wish my 200s tank turned out that good......................Troll:thumbsup:

well i just used the stuff i had laying around the house so it is a mixture of stuff. :D the paint was a napa enamel that i bought to paint my car trailer. it does not need a clear but i thought it may make it stand up to the gas better. i use a HVLP gun that i bought to paint my cars. it looks better in the pic then it does in person. the paint is nice but the body work is only fair. it had a few dings and i only had 3 hours to paint it. i put it on the trike today and it looks a thousand times better! :headbang:

oh yes tank paitn makes soooooooooo much difference, it made mine look like a whole new trike, check out my pics when my tank was primered, i need it painted again though..... what you charge to do it?
