Ebay is a Crock

I was really wanting a head for my 1980 cr80, so i bid on it at $12.00, and at the last seven seconds of the auction, some ahole threw in a bid and beat me by 7 seconds, and 50 cents. I'd like to lay into him over that. Any of you ever have similar problems???

there's a program you can use that will bid on something for you at the last second. :headbang:

That is the only way I bid on anything on ebay. If you bid early someone will drive the price up, or the seller gets his friends to bid on the item so maybe you can bid some more. I can usually bid within 2 to 3 seconds with my max bid and win the item. I have learned from EXPERIENCE.:p

the way i see it ebay only sux if you don't get what you bid on!!!! i buy alot of stuff there ,,and prices are way better than just going and buying most stuff . if you are in a hurry forget it , if you have time to wait thats where you get some deals .where else are you going to get a brand new 39 tooth sidewinder rear sprocket delivered to your house for $11. a .060 over wiseco piston and rings for $28 a dg aluminum silencer for $8 the list goes on and on .I LOVE EBAY

I agree with Kasey. It only suck`s when you dont get what you bid on. I have lost many of aucton myself at the last minute. But i have also won a few in the last few secounds also. I have been a big fan of auction`s sence i was a kid and used to go to them with my dad. I liked all the last minute hoopla. It made it exciting. And e-bay has some great deal`s once in a while. But you have to really work to get them. And i dont worrie that much about losing a item. Because i have been around e-bay long enough to know the same thing will probable be up for sale in a day or two. And might even be cheaper then the one you lost. Some times it is just one other person bidding against you. And after he win`s the first auction and dosnt need the part anymore. He/she wont be around when that next one came up. And you will get it cheaper then they did. I have actually been happy i was outbid on some thing`s. Because i just got them later but cheaper. So hang in there your deal`s will come up:) .

I guess I'm aggervated because the last three to 5 times i have tried to jump in there at the last second somebody else still wins it. Don't get me wrong I've saved alot of money on ebay,but this just burns my A$$.
