I have a 1981 Honda ATC 200 that I am attampting to swap bottom ends off of another motor. The key on the left side of the crankshaft is worn on my "new" bottom end. How would I go about getting that thing off the crankshaft??? I tried to tap it off but no luck. Any ideas? Thanks.

Mark.

It is just stuck in the slot. use a big pin punch against the end, and a 3lb hand sledge. Always works for me :)

Can you hammer on the outer end or do you have to get it out from the back (towards the motor). I was not hammering it too hard as I did not want to break anything. Thanks.

You can tap it on the outer end back towards the motor. It is curved on the shaft side, and it will pop out.

all it is, is a half moon so jsut drift punch and not even that much force with a small hammer..you dont want to damage the crank
