View Full Version : Shining Tips (Aluminum)

Tonight I decided to polish up the top triple tree clamp and boy what a difference. I will be doing my front forks soon too. If you polish aluminum enough - it will eventually look like chrome as you will see in this post. Tools you'll need: A polisher - buffing compound - and TIME. We have mounted a Wheel on the edge of our work bench and hooked it to a motor with a belt. It spins at about 3500 RPMs. Heres a picture of the buffing wheel and compund I used:

I'm gonna polish up everything aluminum that I can pretty quick here. It'll look sweet. Thanks for the tips:D
