just won this off of ebay.It was my first time to win.I needed this shock for my 85 350x because mine is shot.I got it for 89.99 was that a good deal.

What did the guy do bead blast the thing?. That thing sure is clean. But like Dan said. You will know how good of a deal it was once you get a chance to ride on it. And see how good of shape it is. It sure looks awesom for the price. :headbang:

since I'm tearing it down I decided I'm going to fix some other things on it to.But if it is back together in time I'd like to go on a good ride.

Yea i hear what you are saying. Its hard to buy 17 year old parts. You just never know how good of shape they are going to be in. But that one almost looks new like it was replaced not to long ago. I hope it works out fine for you.
