I'm in the process of rebuilding my front forks...just 1 problem.
I was able to get the plug off the top on one fork but with the second one i compressed the plug to remove the circlip but now i cant get the plug out. I've tried compressing the whole fork with the plug drenched with penatrating oil but no luck.. any ideas on how to get it out?

which plug are you talking about? The fork seal it self? If so make sure you have the bolt out of the bottom of the fork and just go up and down with the upper part of the fork. This should loosen up the fork seal and it will pop out. I hope i was helpful.

to remove this plug??
What the hell do you call that pic.
I rap the tube in a rag and clamp it and put a box end wrench on it a hit the wrench with a hammer. so i know a impact will remove the end cap eazy.

yeah, i have a manual but that plug is being a bitch it's jammed in there so hard when you say use an impact wrench, i thought you used that to remove the whole tube, not just the plug..or can u use it 4 both,
No the tube comes out after you remove the allen bolt from the dampening rod in the bottom of the slide. the spring cap can stick it has a o-ring on it.
