Here is the cornerstone of my collection. I have had her the longest and it my favorite (although lately the 250R is getting ridden more)

Here is the 1985 ATC 250R. Just bought her recently (and when I get off this post I am gonna ride her). I got a heck of a deal but would like to find the OEM muffler and pipe and a good starter gear. Mine is stripped but still works good enough to start her.
p.s. I did NOT paint that pipe gray, it was that way when I got her.

Here is the 1984 ATC 250R I would like to sell or restore. It has the engine apart in the basement and everything else you see here. I would like 250.00 for the whole shot OR some parts to get it going again. I am looking for swingarm bolts and misc engine and brake mount stuff.
Oh I do have handle bars too but they are in the garage.

Heres the 86 200x. This old girl has had a rough life. The rear grab bar is missing, the forks are bent and the muffler was bent off in a rollover accident.
No worries though, I have obtained these items and just waiting for a chance to put em on (except the rear grab bar and the left air scoop,,, anyone got?? )

yep---def. an 87 with the white panels----IF it has a key switch--that confirms it.

Thanks,
Rob

Another Difference for 86-87 maybe???? On my rear fenders I have the words 200x not atc. I thought this was something you all added was wonderin if 87 had atc Then?
Ed I got the part numbers for the Air scoops If your interested. But they wouldn't confirm white. However the part #'s Are specific to the 87. Jen

Thanks on the 200X age... I knew I should have checked the label before posting. heheh. I have not had it out in a year. Was good to ride it around the yard.

I got a old 59(?) 8N tractor here! 4 wheels! Paddles on the back! Gets absolutely NO use lol.

Wow... Maybe we ought to have a Poll... Which is faster? A stock 8N or a Hopped up 1941 John Deere H.. Bet THAT would stir up some controversy.
Raced my friends Banshee with the old H the other day,, it was not a close race but I am thinking with some modifications I could be closer. :D

p.s.s. Funny little side note. The 9N is actually OLDER then the 8N.
The 9N came out in 1949 and the 8N came out in 1958. Thus the 8 and the 9.
Bet THAT bit would not have come up in the Tech section.

I will be sending you an e-mail real soon regarding the 1984 ATC 250R basketcase. I have probably 80% of the parts and just needing someone with a desire to assemble. Or you could say, Half the work of disassembly has already been done. :D

The 1985 I just bought and I aint sayin how much. Cause if I ever DO sell it people seem to think your purchase price is what it should sell for no matter what you do to it.
The 1984 is for sale as is but I am looking at buying some more parts for it sooooo.... if your interested, let me know NOW. $250.00 for everything.
I will try to post some better pics of it soon, I know the weeds are high, they are the only thing that will grow right now... ;-)
