83 200E motor noise

I posted this on 3WW but haven't received much response so I thought I would give it a try here and see what you guys can do to help me out.

I have a really sturdy 83 Honda 200E (chain drive) that I rebuilt from the ground up, except the engine and it is still stock.

Lately I have started hearing what seems like knocks (more of a click) from the bottom of the engine. I adjusted the Cam Chain and it helped some but this seems to be from lower? What might this be? I have NOT noticed a decrease in power or anything like that. Crank shaft bearings? Connecting rod bushings?

Any ideas will be appreciated

Maybe your cam chain is worn out and cant be adjusted anymore.
Maybe it is the valves.:doh:

I adjusted the valves and they were in good shape I thought. But this noise seems to be coming from lower in the engine somewhere.
