Just got an '84 ATC 200ES Big Red. It runs, but tends to die when it gets warm. I suspect carb adjustments. Does anybody know which screw is which- idle speed and air mixture? what is the procedure for setting these? what is the correct spark plug? anybody have carb diagrams (exploded views) that they could send me? carb disassembly and assembly instructions?
Many Thanks....

If im not mistaken, i thought all the 200cc machines took an NGK DR8ES-L plug. I know my 200 and my 250sx along with the 125 motor i have all take the DR8ES-L. And on the carb the idle screw is on the left side and it is on the round part that sticks up off the top of the carb where the slide is. when you adjust it you are better of doing it with it off then starting the engine after you make the adjustment because, it is a tapered area on the slide of the carb and if you dont lift the slide off the screw you will just put a dent in the area the screw sits in so you have to open the throttle a bit. but clock wise is higher idle counter clockwise is a lower idle. good luck. if this is confusing i will re-frase it for you. feel free to e-mail me if you would like me to do it.
