I have been having some problems out of my bike. This bike has gradually gotten worse the last 6 months. It will stay idleing on its own, it just dies. The last couple of days I have probably ridden about 15 miles. The bike runs good. But, as soon as I let off the throttle it will die within 5-10 seconds. As long as I keep giving it the throttle it will run forever. I recently changed the spark plug, so I know its not this. The bike does not fllod. It starts first or second pull almost every time. Any suggestions?

pull the carb off. make it easy on your self by remove carb and manifold in one peice. by removing the two bolts that hold the manifold to the head. it sounds like your low speed jet is pluged. clean up every thing. be sure the holes in the jet are open. by pushing a very small peice of wire though the center.i would alsoclean the tank, lines, peacock, put in a aftermaket filter. you have dirt in there some where

good advise by atc330r, just be care full not to scratch the jet when sticking somesome in it. useally high pressure air(air compressor will blow it out), if you have varnish build up (yellowish-brownish stuff) when get a can of carburator dunk, it comes in 1 gallon cans and can be used over and over. it will make your carb look new again. great stuff. available at most auto parts stores. if you want a brand name let me know i will give you one. just be carefull "NOT" to stick any rubber parts in the carb dunk.
