How hard is it to swap

So my Question is How hard would it be to put a CR500 motor or a newer CRF450 motor into a 86 or 85 ATC 250r frame?

Any ideas ?????????????

He already did this conversion. There is also another member that either is considering this conversion, or is already working on it. If I recall, they were saying you will want a later waterpumper 500. Apparently, the old 480 kickstart ( wrong side ) is a real pain, the first gen 500 aircooled supposedly have
reliability problems.

the air cooled 480's are better for a air cooled frame...the water 500's for the water cooled :D but with the yzf400/426/450...im on to it
