Is it possiable to put a aluminum front wheel on a 200s or 185s??:confused: i would like to keep the fat front tire, just replace the steel rim with a aluminum one. I dont remeber seeing this done.:shrug: cman.

It can be done. You just need a wheel with the correct offset and bolt pattern. Here is a chart with the info you need, and a ITP part number

nothing as simple as the front and rear rims being interchangeable??

The part number shown for the front and rear rim are the same. When I had my 82 185s, I moved a tire and rim from the front to the back. So, yes the front and rear rims are interchangable. The stock 185s rims were split rims.

You may want to check with a tape the deepth of the dish. the 250sx front rim is 1/4 less dish than the back. The front works on the rear but it changes the tip piont.
