had a handle grip come off in a 3rd gear peged burm shot and got up out of the sand with the handle grip still in my hands.
no one had any glue in camp but was told to use gas instead and it does not budge. I will never spend money on glue again:headbang:

I was told hairspray works good. Supposedly its slick enough to allow the grip to go on then drys tacky. I dont use hairspray :D this is from one of my MX buds.

So you just dunk the whole Grip in Gas and slide it on and let dry??

electrical contact cleaner works REALLY well too, thats what the local race shop uses on the grips they install. ;)

since everyone has suggestions on what to use.. heres somthing to NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER NEVER EVER USE! NEVER use 3m 5200, yea they will stay on.. but unless you wanna keep your bars when you change grips, dont use it.. that stuff does NOT come off..

just a thought
