xr500 hp/power

if any of you have read through my posts you already know that i am a quad owner (but i love trikes anyway) & that i have a 250x, im considering getting a xr500 motor and fabbing it into my frame in our shop, but im curious as to how much hp these things have and if it would be a worthy investment. can you guys help me out?

I have an old review somewhere I'll try to dig it up. but I think peak HP is 30hp. what year is it? The 84,85 are a rfvc motor and like to rev more than the 79 to 82 motors. I have an 82 and it's a real stump puller. good luck I found the 79 review from motorcyclist the specs show 31HP @ 6500 27ft tq @ 5500
